Near the USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park, Daphne is located in Baldwin County (Gulf Coast Region).


The city resides on the eastern shoreline of Mobile Bay just off Interstate 10, just east of Mobile and just west of the Florida state line putting it in the Mobile, Alabama metro area.
The city has many activities including organized youth sports, baseball, basketball, football, soccer, softball and swimming. There is even sailing on the Mobile Bay with summer programs of sports clinics.
There are also sports oriented historical sites in the area including the American Sport Art Museum and the Eastern Shores Art Center. These facilities provide information on many of the sports for the whole state and local players.
Some of the accommodations in the area are the Comfort Suites, Eastern Shore Motel, Econo Lodge, Hampton Inn (east bay), and a variety of hotels or bed and breakfast inns.
