Near the R.I. Harris Reservation (Lake Wedowee), Delta is also close to the Clay County Public Lake which makes the area a great place for all your fishing and boating activities.
The city is located in
Clay County North Region, on eastern side of Alabama along Highway 9.
North of the city is the
Talladega National Forest where many activities take place such as camping, hiking, and biking trails. Also in the area is Cheaha Mountain which is the highest point in Alabama.
