Eutaw was named for the Eutaw Springs which play a large part in the cities historic past.
The city is located in Greene County (Southeast Region), between Tuscaloosa and Livingston on U.S. Highway 43.
Some of the local attractions in the area include the Eutaw Antiques, Greenetrack (Greene County Greyhound Park), Kirkwood Mansion, and the Twin Oaks Plantation. Many of these places have a visitor area to find out all the information about the site.
