Fairfield home to Miles College where proper education is a major part of the school.
The city is located in

North Region), in the outskirts of
Birmingham along Highway off I-59.
The city was first developed as a residential community for employees of the United States Steel and has now developed into a thriving community for residents and an excellent area to visit.
The Conecuh National Forest is south of the city where many camping, hiking, and walking paths are available to the public for daytime use. It is also an excellent area to visit while in the area.
