Bevill State Community College is an accredited, multi-campus institution whose mission is to provide the citizens of West-Central Alabama with educational opportunities that enrich their lives intellectually, culturally, and economically. Hamilton is located in

In 1993, the Hamilton Campus of the former Northwest Alabama Community College joined Bevill State as one of its main campuses. The four campuses offer university parallel, technical, and vocational educational opportunities to approximately one-quarter of a million people in the seven county area, which spans 4,628 square miles, from the Birmingham city limits to Mississippi.
Athletic scholarships are given in track/cross country. Student housing is available.
