L J Morris Elementary School offers a variety of positive, motivational activities and experiences within a secure learning environment. With effective leadership, guidance in instruction, parental and community involvement, the students are prepared to accept the challenges of life. The school opened in 1958 as Madison Pike Elementary and was renamed in 1976. The entire school is involved in a reading renaissance program. Special education, autism classes, counseling, music, art, and physical education are provided. It has a library.
