Terry Heights Elementary School is one of the oldest schools in the Huntsville City School system. It has two wings of classrooms, library, and computer lab. Instructional methodology is based on the students' learning style, prior knowledge, and hands-on experiences to provide optimum student opportunity for achievement. Classes are offered for kindergarten to 5th grade. Academic cheerleaders, dance team, and tiny soldiers are among the extra curricular activities. Art, music, and physical education are also taught. Lunch is available.
