Over 100 physicians are on active staff at Keller with more than 25 specialties represented at this full service hospital which provides medical care for the areas of Northwest Alabama and Northeast Mississippi.

Helen Keller Hospital has provided quality healthcare to the community since 1921 when the City of Sheffield and Colbert County governments pooled their resources to purchase the 25 bed New Belmont Hospital. The facility was at that time located in a two-story building in downtown Sheffield.
