Alabama Veteran's Museum and Archives

Alabama Veterans Museum and Archives is located in the old L and N Freight Depot in Athens. It is divided into three areas: the Tyler Craig Memorial Library, the Bob McAbee Exhibit Hall, and the Wendell Powers Auditorium. The museum exhibits uniforms, medals, weapons, photographs, books, tapes, and artifacts from the Revolutionary War and the Civil War. Artifacts from the World Wars, Korean war, Viet Nam war, and the Desert Storm are also displayed.
