Sylacauga is located in Talladega County (North Region), 45 miles SE of Birmingham along Highway 21 near Talledega National Forest.


The city is full of history with marble being quarried here and was used in construction of the U.S. Supreme Court building. The Isabel Anderson Comer Museum and Arts Center is a wonderful place to view the past of the city with the exibits and displays available.
The nearby Talladega National Forest is a great place to spend time in the outdoors. It has many places for a picnic, hike, or a day of relaxing.
