Talladega is located in Talladega County (North Region), 50 miles E of Birmingham along Highway 21 near Talladega National Forest.


The city is full of history including the Historic Downtown Court Square, International Motor Sports Hall of Fame, and the Jemison-Carnegie Heritage Hall. These are wonderful places to see the past of the area with exibits and displays at the local museum.
The city has a standard of higher education at the Talladega College. The college provides education to students from all around the area.
