Three Notch Museum

The Three Notch Museum is located in a 19th century Railroad Depot on Historic Central Street in downtown Andalusia, Alabama. The Central of Georgia Depot, constructed in 1899, is the oldest and only wooden commercial building remaining in downtown Andalusia. The board-and-batten structure features two waiting rooms, the ticket agent's office, and a baggage area. Most of the original design has been preserved to maintain its historical character. The Three Notch Museum features permanent and rotating displays of: Railroad Memorabilia, Old Photographs, Handmade Lace and Linens, Depression Glass, Hand woven baskets, Farm Implements, Memorabilia of life in rural South Alabama, Items depicting the histories of local businesses, and Political Memorabilia.
