Troy State University
Dothan, founded in 1965, is a public liberal arts school. As part of the Troy State University system, it established a permanent campus in Dothan in 1977 to serve the tri-state region. It continues to offer degree completion studies for the military at Fort Rucker. There are 3 undergraduate and 3 graduate schools.
The 250 acre campus is in an urban area 100 miles southeast of Montgomery. There are 2 buildings.
No fraternities, sororities or residence halls are offered. There are 8 clubs and organizations on campus.
