(of which it is the county seat). Situated in the Ozark Mountains
north of Conway
, between Fairfield Bay
and Crabtreee along Hwy 16, at the most western edge of Greers Ferry Lake.

Every Labor Day the National Championship Chuck wagon races are held in Clinton. The town also has a natural limestone bridge that is something you have to see if you are in the Clinton area.
