Flippin is located in Marion County east of Mountain Home, between Yellville and Gassville, near the White River, Bull Shoals Lake and the Missouri State line.The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 1,385, an increase of 350 since 1990. Fishing and boating highlight Flippin's way of life because we are so close to gigantic Bull Shoals Lake, the White River, and Buffalo National River and Park. Flippin is known as the home of the Ranger bass boat. First designed and developed here by Flippin's own Forrest Wood, Ranger Boats continues to be a vital industry in the Flippin area.
