Malvern is located in
Hot Spring County (of which it is the county seat) northeast of
Arkadelphia, between
Hot Springs and
Sheridan, situated near the Ouachita River.
The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 9,738, an increase of 502 since 1990.
Ouachita Technical College (OTC) is situated in malvern.
