The original 1872 Hempstead County Jail has five guest rooms, each with private bath. Completely renovated, furnished with period antiques; full breakfast served in dining room. Facilities available for children ages seven and over, smoking outdoors only. Phones, data connection, fax avilable. State park tours and special events available at various times of the year.
