The rich heritage of life in the Ozark Mountains is featured through music, crafts and dance at the Ozark Folk Center. The Center's season (first two weekends in April; and daily April 19 -November 3) artisans demonstrate over 24 homestead skills and crafts in the Crafts Village. Festivals highlight the spring and fall seasons, and special music shows, contests, workshops and craft exhibitions are held throughout the year. The Ozark Folk Center State Park is one mile north of Mountain View on Spur 382 off Highways 5, 9 and 14.
