Rialto Theatre

This historic 1911 movie theatre is undergoing extensive renovation. Restoration was recently completed and the theatre now shows classic movies and live performances.

The Rialto opened in 1911, and around the 30s or 40s, when it was acquired by Malco Theatres, received an Art Moderne remodel, including its large and ornate marquee, with the theater's name in large letters on each side of the triangular marquee, and the front panel in gold and rose colored stripes, the stylized, intertwined letters M and T inside a circle.

The Rialto was extensively renovated and restored in 2000 for use as a peforming arts venue, with live stage shows, musical acts and concerts.
