Sherwood

Sherwood is located in Pulaski County between North Little Rock and Little Rock along the banks of the Arkansas River (part of the Little Rock-North Little Rock, Arkansas metropolitan area).

Sherwood has been named the fastest growing city in Arkansas. It's also one of the safest cities in the state, with more police officers per capita than any other city. Sherwood also offers the highest per capita income and the third highest level of education in the state.

The City of Sherwood Parks and Recreation facilities include: the Sherwood Sports Complex, Henson Tennis Center, the Rec. Center, three municipal pools, and 12 city parks. There is also a lot of site seeing and shopping to be done in the city, including some excellent antiquing. The Sherwood Fest in October is another great attraction for this city. There is an Arts, Crafts & photography competition in connection with the festival every year.
