Southern Arkansas University's main campus encompasses 162 acres on the northern edge of Magnolia, with another 569 acres of university property used by the Department of Agriculture as a laboratory for its students. Current enrollment is at 2800 students and is a public 4 year college. Undergraduate degrees are offered in four schools which include business administration, education, liberal & performing arts, and science & technology. Graduate studies are offered in four areas including elementary and secondary education, counseling & development, and kinesiology.
