Five trails lead through the park's unusual vegetation including oak, sugar maple, beech, butternut and tulip poplar. The visitor center includes an A/V theater, store and gift shop. The interpretive center offers a large meeting facility and The Discovery Room, featuring exhibits of prehistoric artifacts and wildlife of Crowley's Ridge. Nestled on a nearby ridge are 10 fully equipped cabins with kitchens. At Lake Austell, you'll find picnic sites near a sandy beach and sun deck. Park facilities include four standard pavilions, playgrounds, baseball and multi-use fields, and a driving range. Visitors to
Village Creek State Park can fish for bass, bream, catfish, and crappie at the park's two lakes. Launch ramps, boat docks, bait, fishing boats, electric motors and pedal boats are available late-spring through Labor Day. The park also offers camping, picnicking, hiking, swimming, a baseball field, a driving range, and interpretive programs.
