Taos Gallery

Taos Gallery features a collection of paintings by Augustus Dunbier. He painted the mountains of Montana and Colorado, the coasts and harbors of Massachusetts, Maine, Oregon, and Alaska, and the deserts of New Mexico and Arizona. Known as a colorist, Dunbier created paintings that are characterized by assertive, contrasting colors and bold brushwork. The greater part of his impressionist landscapes were painted close to home in Nebraska.
