Celebrating its 30th Season, Tempe Little Theatre has the distinction of being one of the oldest community theater groups in the Phoenix area. Their December production is "Klondike Kalamity", a melodrama by Gary Peterson and David Byrne. The Great Yukon blizzard sets the scene for this hilarious romp over the fields of melodrama. The cast includes the lovely maiden, the poor, but honest lumberjack, the stalwart and heroic Mountie and a villain you will simply love to loathe! Can our true-blue hero ever hope to clear his foully besmirched name? Is there a chance that the heroine may escape the sawmill blade? Directed by Susan Ranahan.
