The resort is connected by a walking bridge to the Butterfield Shopping Plaza. The plaza consists of a Safeway super market, ace hardware, thrift store, western wear store, bank and video store. Restaurants, shopping, post office and a hospital are nearby. Area attractions include the historic town of Tombstone, Holy Trinity Monastery, Gammons gulch and the Sonora desert museum.
