Cochise College was established in 1961 as the second community college in Arizona. The original 540-acre, seventeen-building Douglas campus provides panoramic views of the Mule and Chiricahua Mountains as well as neighboring Sonora, Mexico.
The curriculum of general education, liberal arts, and occupational programs including Administration of Justice, Agriculture, Aviation Maintenance, Pro-pilot, Avionics, Pre-professional, Business, Computer Science, Motor Transportation, Nursing, and Office Education.
Satellite campuses include those in Willcox, Benson, Bisbee, Fort Huachuca and Sierra Vista.
The College is in Cochise County with a total enrollment of about 4800 among the campuses. There are 86 programs leading to associates degrees and athletic scholarships are given in basketball, baseball and other sports. Student housing is available for 240.
