Mesa Contemporary Arts is the contemporary art gallery for the City of Mesa, located in the Valley of the Sun in metro Phoenix, Arizona. They serve primarily as a venue for national juried exhibitions of contemporary art by emerging and mid-career visual artists. The Center offers a season of seven exhibitions annually: one invitational/curated and six national juried exhibitions. Each exhibition focuses on a particular theme, and most are all-media, attracting the most diverse artwork from around the country. The Mesa Arts Center is an award-winning community resource dedicated to promoting greater knowledge of and participation in the visual and performing arts. The Center provides art classes, live theater, art exhibitions, festivals, concerts, films, lectures, and workshops for the public. The Center is open Tuesday through Friday from noon to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from noon to 5:00 p.m. The Center is closed on Sunday and Monday.
