West Valley Art Museum |
The West Valley Art Museum is the primary art institution in the West Valley. The museum was founded in 1980 as the non-profit Sun City Art Museum. The museum collection contains over 4000 items from more than 90 countries with a key focus on ethnic dress, textiles, and ethnographic arts. The museum's 19th and 20th century fine art collection contains 213 paintings, 312 drawings, and 302 prints by American artists with a growing focus on artists from the Southwest. The museum also provides a cafe and a gift shop.
