Alberni Valley Museum |
Located in Echo Recreation Centre at 4255 Wallace Street, the museum displays Vancouver Island Indian and pioneer artifacts and a collection of baskets. There is a working model of the Pelton Power Generator in the commercial fishing and industrial exhibit. Hands-on exhibits include a sawyer's mill and the West Coast Life Saving Trail Telegraph. Open Tuesday-Saturday, 10-5.
