Located northeast of Sicamous on Highway 1 (The Transcanada Highway) in the High Country region, this is the home of a monument which marks the spot where the famous "Last Spike" was driven into place in 1885, commemorating the last ribbon of steel in the Canadian Pacific Railway, linking Canada from sea to sea.
