This 130 nautical mile channel connects
Kitimat to the Pacific Ocean. Due to its steep, rock-walled passage with fabulous mountain views, waterfalls and streams it is often compared to the fjords of Norway. From Kitimat you can charter boats for deep sea fishing, whale, porpoise and seal watching, and exploring. Or you can fish for salmon, halibut, cod, shrimp and crab. You can even find wilderness hot springs for dipping along this channel.
