With a population of 400, Granisle's main industries are tourism and logging. Once the site of a copper mine, the town now has a "kicked back" atmosphere for whiling away the hours in the great outdoors. Here, the fishing derbies last all summer. Other activities include hiking the nearby slopes, picking wild berries, swimming at the sandy beaches, playing tennis, or taking in the summer curling bonspiel.
Campsites and sheltered moorage are available at Redbluff and Lions Beach Parks, or visitors can set up their RV's right downtown near shopping and services.
