Horne Lake Family Campground

Comments: We had a terrible visit, the lake had the itch so you could not swim (it was 33 degrees). This notice was not posted on there website. We received a voucher for the exchanges of ocean front site to wooden sites, when we went to use the voucher, they would not accept it. We were told this voucher could be used for anything item at the campground by the Manager of the campground but the staff at the office would not grant us the use of canoes or any other program as stated on the voucher. The staff we not accomodating at all always stating that they do not issue refunds. Another camper came to the campground with little children to find the lake unswimable, he had purchased a stack of wood and someone in his campsite .He didn't want to stay so requested his money back for his purchase of wood and the staff said NO we don't issue refunds. He did not received his money back for the wood . We both stated as to the very poor customer service and would never return to this campsite.
