Located about 100 km southeast of
Kitimat, the trees here are almost 800 years old. In 1994, this 317,000 hectare valley was set aside as a protected area to preserve the world's largest intact coastal rain forest. The Haisla Nation calls the area Husduwachsdu, or "source of the milky blue waters". They welcome all people to "rediscovery camps" in this valley.
