Langley British Columbia |
Located on the Nicomekl River in the Fraser Valley, the city of Langley is known as the place "where city and country meet". Though saddles and boots line the store windows near the antique shops, Langley is also a cultural centre with live music concerts, live theatre and art galleries. The Township is comprised of farms, regional parks and quiet country roads winding through rolling farmland and woodlands. The "horse capital of B.C." hosts international equestrian events and trail rides. Visitors can buy fresh berries, roses, pumpkins and other farm produce. Other attractions include Domaine de Chaberton Estates, an estate winery, and a challenging golf course designed by Ted Locke, and lined with cedar and fir trees. Langley is southeast of Vancouver in the Fraser Valley. There are more than a dozen Cities in Metropolitan Vancouver BC.
