Fraser Valley

Below Hope, the Fraser River slows and widens into the Fraser Valley, the most fertile area of British Columbia.

Highway 1, the Transcanada Highway, follows the southern side of the valley until New Westminster. Highway 7 follows the narrow north side from Agassiz to Port Coquitlam.
