A small lakefront campground on the east side of the South Arm of
Kootenay Lake, the park also contains an intact watershed rising steeply from the slopes of
Kootenay Lake to alpine meadows. The park has old growth cedar and hemlock forests. Fish species such as rainbow trout, bull trout, and kokanee inhabit Lockhart Creek.
The park is open from April to October. There are no reservations for any of the 13 campsites.
This is just one of hundreds of British Columbia Provincial Parks.
