Sunshine Coast communities, Pender Harbour is located just a short drive from Highway 101. The town centre includes a small mall, a large community hall, post office, Travel InfoCentre and an elementary school. The Cultural Centre houses an art gallery, the Pender Harbour School of Music, a library and playschool. On this hilled site, a grassy area with picnic tables offers a nice viewpoint for watching the boating activity below. There is a public boat launch here. Take a drive to Francis Peninsula and Bargain Narrows where a pullout point offers beautiful views of Oyster Lagoon on one side, and Gerrans Bay on the other.
