Nestled between the Monashee and Selkirk mountain ranges, this alpine city satisfies a variety of interests, year round. A beautifully restored downtown amid spectacular scenery, make this a somewhat unforgettable location. During the summer, Grizzly Plaza offers nightly entertainment in the band shell. Over 60 circa 1800's buildings can be seen in an organized downtown walking tour that identifies each building. Abundant recreational activities include hiking, river tours, white-water trips, wildlife observation and golf. Revelstoke is on Highway 1 (The Transcanada Highway) between Sicamous and Golden.
