South of Penticton, along Highway 97 in the south central area of Okanagan Similkameen, this lake features one of the region's largest sandy beach areas, and boasts outstanding windsurfing conditions. It receives water from Okanagan Lake to the north and releases water at Okanagan Falls at the south end.
