At Vancouver Freestyle Ski Club, their goal is to introduce skiers of any age to master the fun and excitement of freeriding and freestyle skiing. They ski at the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympic venue for freestyle skiing, Cypress Mountain and have a great program at Grouse Mountain as well.

The annual festival began in 1976 with a gift of 1,000 cherry trees to the city of Seattle from the Japanese government to celebrate the U.S. Bicentennial.
