Delta

This green farmland and wetlands oasis is bounded by the Fraser River, Strait of Georgia, Surrey and British Columbia's border with the U.S. This sunny, natural area can be reached from both Highways 91 and 99. Points of interest include the Reifel Bird Sanctuary on Westham Island near Ladner, attracting annually over 1 million migratory birds, including Arctic snow geese; dykes, marshes and meadows at Deas Island Regional Park; a heritage school house and Queen Anne-style home.
