Schooner Restaurant

This building was originally constructed as the hospital at the RCAF Squadron Unit at Long Beach during war time. At the end of hostilities, the building was removed by barge down Tofino Inlet and up to its present location on the corner of Campbell and Second Street. Great food has always been a part of this building. In 1949, it was Vic's Coffee Bar, then later it became the Lone Cone Cafe. Sometime in the early 60's it finally became the Schooner with the famous "Candle Light Room".
