Vancouver, Coast and Mountains region

Search Visit British Columbia
This most populous corner of the province includes the city of Vancouver, the vast farmland of the Fraser Valley, the resort town of Whistler, and the cottage country of the Sunshine Coast.

The region is defined by three highways: Highway 1 (The Transcanada Highway) runs through the Fraser Valley, Highway 99 (Sea to Sky Highway) runs north from Vancouver into the interior, and Highway 101 connects the Sunshine Coast, with the help of several connections from BC Ferries.
