The Ethnographic Museum gathers together some 2,500 artistic and other artifacts from several non-European civilizations: sculptures, paintings, masks, clothing, textiles, stoneware, ceramics, prints, and weapons. It is hoped that through the viewing of these objects, visitors to this European museum may become familiar with the cultural traditions and living environment of the peoples of Western and Central Africa, Meso America, the Pacific Islands, the Far East, and other regions.
