Victor Horta (1861-1947) is one of the most celebrated architects of the Art Deco movement. The Horta Museum is the house Horta had built for himself, in the late 1890s. It is a fine example of his work, incorporating many of the motifs and stylistic traits that distinguish his aesthetic, such as the use of a central hall with a glass ceiling, around which the other rooms cluster.
