The Lesse rises in the
Luxembourg province, deep in the
Ardennes region. Eventually it flows into the
Meuse River, just south of
Dinant. Along the way, it passes underground for several kilometers, cutting some spectacular hollows through the limestone hills, including the famous
Han Caves.
