The spellbindingly beautiful Han Caves have been cut into the local limestone hills by the
Lesse River over millions of years. They were discovered in the early nineteenth century; today, about a third of the massive complex can be toured. Sights include a stalagmite over 7 meters high and 20 meters around, and the Dome Chamber, a hollow 62 meters high.
