The Chateau de la Motte, located in the village of Gelman, near
Sint-Truiden, has been the property of the Counts Van Loon ever since 1015. It is built on seven wells, which pour forth pure spring water with a constant temperature of 6 degrees Celsius. A restaurant and a brasserie serve hearty food. There is a park open for visitors, with enjoyable nature trails.
