Search Brussels

The Museum of Cocoa and Chocolate, located in the House of the Dukes of Brabant on the Brussels Grand Place, was founded in 1998 by Jo Draps, a third generation Belgian Chocolatier. The history of chocolate is traced from its discovery by the Aztecs, through its importation to Europe, and through the innovations unique to Belgium which have made Belgian Chocolate legendary worldwide. Chocolate sculptures and other decorative pieces are presented in addition to the historical materials.
